OCO - optical console for PC/server remote control
'OCO' is an optical operator's console developed by EPOS. The console consists of modules of OCO-S and OCO-P that are interconnected. OKO-P is a peripheral module to which keyboard, mouse, monitor are connected. OCO-S represents a system module, i.e. one that connects to the server or workstation.

These 2 modules form the remote console designed for remote management of servers or computers installed in a shielded cabinet.
The keyboard, mouse and monitor are upgaded to ensure low level spurious emenations. Fiber-optic lines are used to connect the console to the equipment installed in a shielded cabinet. All interconnection inside the cabinet is done with usual copper cables.
'OCO' can be used in:
administering server equipment of protected complexes for processing confidential data;
accesing protected systems with restricted physical access to the chassis;
managing equipment in a situation of heavy electromagnetic interference.
Components of the console:
optical console 'OCO-P', to which monitor, keyboard and mouse are connected. Optionally, a cardreader, a SmartCard or a Touch-memory reader for remote user authentication can be installed.
optical console 'OCO-S', connected to the server's or workstation's chassis;
set of optical cables for interconnection of OCO-S and OCO-P;
Main technical characteristics of the remote console :
range for the consoles – up to 100 m;
monitor resolution in WUXGA mode – up to 1920/1200, if 60 Hz refresh rate;
voltage for optical consoles – 220V 50 Hz;
built-in filters in feed circuits of the interface modules.
