EPOS DiskMaster Portable is an autonomous multifunctional device designed for quick data copying, data erasure, HDD diagnostics and repair.

EPOS DiskMaster Portable has been designed as a universal device for specialists at service centers, companies' IT and security services. It provides execution of the full range of activities in the operation and maintenance of hard drives. Due to its small size and weight, it can be used in both stationary and outdoor conditions.

The device allows you to work with all HDDs with PATA, SATA or eSATA, regardless of their manufacturer, model and capacity. All operations are performed with the highest speed supported by the drive (data transfer rate of up to 8 Gb/min). Unlike software with similar functionality, the device provides copying and deletion of data in a hidden area of hard disk drives' HPA (Host Protected Area), as well as on hard disks with defects on surfaces. The results of operation of EPOS DiskMaster Portable are stored in nonvolatile memory and can be transferred by USB to your computer for further processing.

EPOS DiskMaster Portable provides a wide range of features. In particular, it can be used:

• To ensure the safe storage and prevent information leaks – for destruction of data on HDDs
• for investigation of IT crimes (computer forensics) – for copying of data from HDD (with write protection of the source HDD), including copying from protected areas of HDD
• for data recovery and repair of HDD – to copy data from damaged hard drives in a sparing mode, and to remap bad sectors
• for computer maintenance – for cloning hard drives when upgrading a PC, and to perform diagnostic and preventive operations with hard disks

1. Data destruction (information erasure), with HDD retaining its operating ability
